말씀선포 : 에베소서(Ephesians) 5장 22~33절

22. 아내들이여 자기 남편에게 복종하기를 주께 하듯 하라
     Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

23. 이는 남편이 아내의 머리 됨이 그리스도께서 교회의 머리 됨과 같음이니 그가 바로
      몸의 구주시니라
      For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church,
      his body, of which he is the Savior.

24. 그러므로 교회가 그리스도에게 하듯 아내들도 범사에 자기 남편에게 복종할지니라
      Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their
      husbands in everything.

25. 남편들아 아내 사랑하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 사랑하시고 그 교회를 위하여 자신
      을 주심 같이 하라
      Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave
      himself up for her

26. 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고
      to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the
      word

27. 자기 앞에 영광스러운 교회로 세우사 티나 주름 잡힌 것이나 이런 것들이 없이 거룩
      하고 흠이 없게 하려 하심이라
      and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle
      or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

28. 이와 같이 남편들도 자기 아내 사랑하기를 자기 자신과 같이 할지니 자기 아내를 
      사랑하는 자는 자기를 사랑하는 것이라
       In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies.
       He who loves his wife loves himself.

29. 누구든지 언제나 자기 육체를 미워하지 않고 오직 양육하여 보호하기를 그리스도께
      서 교회에게 함과 같이 하나니
      After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it,
      just as Christ does the church--

30. 우리는 그 몸의 지체임이라
      for we are members of his body.

31. 그러므로 사람이 부모를 떠나 그의 아내와 합하여 그 둘이 한 육체가 될지니
      For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his
      wife, and the two will become one flesh."

32. 이 비밀이 크도다 나는 그리스도와 교회에 대하여 말하노라
      This is a profound mystery--but I am talking about Christ and the church.

33. 그러나 너희도 각각 자기의 아내 사랑하기를 자신 같이 하고 아내도 자기 남편을 
     존경하라
     However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and
     the wife must respect her husband.
