말씀선포 ㅣ 창37:18~36절

37:18 요셉이 그들에게 가까이 오기 전에 그들이 요셉을 멀리서 보고 죽이기를 꾀하여  

37:19 서로 이르되 꿈 꾸는 자가 오는도다  

37:20 자, 그를 죽여 한 구덩이에 던지고 우리가 말하기를 악한 짐승이 그를 잡아먹었다 하자 그의 꿈이 어떻게 되는지를 우리가 볼 것이니라 하는지라  

37:21 르우벤이 듣고 요셉을 그들의 손에서 구원하려 하여 이르되 우리가 그의 생명은 해치지 말자  

37:22 르우벤이 또 그들에게 이르되 피를 흘리지 말라 그를 광야 그 구덩이에 던지고 손을 그에게 대지 말라 하니 이는 그가 요셉을 그들의 손에서 구출하여 그의 아버지에게로 돌려보내려 함이었더라  

37:23 요셉이 형들에게 이르매 그의 형들이 요셉의 옷 곧 그가 입은 채색옷을 벗기고  

37:24 그를 잡아 구덩이에 던지니 그 구덩이는 빈 것이라 그 속에 물이 없었더라  

37:25 그들이 앉아 음식을 먹다가 눈을 들어 본즉 한 무리의 이스마엘 사람들이 길르앗에서 오는데 그 낙타들에 향품과 유향과 몰약을 싣고 애굽으로 내려가는지라  

37:26 유다가 자기 형제에게 이르되 우리가 우리 동생을 죽이고 그의 피를 덮어둔들 무엇이 유익할까  

37:27 자 그를 이스마엘 사람들에게 팔고 그에게 우리 손을 대지 말자 그는 우리의 동생이요 우리의 혈육이니라 하매 그의 형제들이 청종하였더라 

37:28 그 때에 미디안 사람 상인들이 지나가고 있는지라 형들이 요셉을 구덩이에서 끌어올리고 은 이십에 그를 이스마엘 사람들에게 팔매 그 상인들이 요셉을 데리고 애굽으로 갔더라  

37:29 르우벤이 돌아와 구덩이에 이르러 본즉 거기 요셉이 없는지라 옷을 찢고  

37:30 아우들에게로 되돌아와서 이르되 아이가 없도다 나는 어디로 갈까  

37:31 그들이 요셉의 옷을 가져다가 숫염소를 죽여 그 옷을 피에 적시고  

37:32 그의 채색옷을 보내어 그의 아버지에게로 가지고 가서 이르기를 우리가 이것을 발견하였으니 아버지 아들의 옷인가 보소서 하매  

37:33 아버지가 그것을 알아보고 이르되 내 아들의 옷이라 악한 짐승이 그를 잡아 먹었도다 요셉이 분명히 찢겼도다 하고  

37:34 자기 옷을 찢고 굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 오래도록 그의 아들을 위하여 애통하니  

37:35 그의 모든 자녀가 위로하되 그가 그 위로를 받지 아니하여 이르되 내가 슬퍼하며 스올로 내려가 아들에게로 가리라 하고 그의 아버지가 그를 위하여 울었더라  

37:36 그 미디안 사람들은 그를 애굽에서 바로의 신하 친위대장 보디발에게 팔았더라 

37:18 But they saw him in the distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him.

37:19 "Here comes that dreamer!" they said to each other.

37:20 "Come now, let's kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we'll see what comes of his dreams."

37:21 When Reuben heard this, he tried to rescue him from their hands. "Let's not take his life," he said.

37:22 "Don't shed any blood. Throw him into this cistern here in the desert, but don't lay a hand on him." Reuben said this to rescue him from them and take him back to his father.

37:23 So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe--the richly ornamented robe he was wearing--

37:24 and they took him and threw him into the cistern. Now the cistern was empty; there was no water in it.

37:25 As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead. Their camels were loaded with spices, balm and myrrh, and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt.

37:26 Judah said to his brothers, "What will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?

37:27 Come, let's sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him; after all, he is our brother, our own flesh and blood." His brothers agreed.

37:28 So when the Midianite merchants came by, his brothers pulled Joseph up out of the cistern and sold him for twenty shekels of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.

37:29 When Reuben returned to the cistern and saw that Joseph was not there, he tore his clothes.

37:30 He went back to his brothers and said, "The boy isn't there! Where can I turn now?"

37:31 Then they got Joseph's robe, slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood.

37:32 They took the ornamented robe back to their father and said, "We found this. Examine it to see whether it is your son's robe."

37:33 He recognized it and said, "It is my son's robe! Some ferocious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces."

37:34 Then Jacob tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for his son many days.

37:35 All his sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. "No," he said, "in mourning will I go down to the grave to my son." So his father wept for him.

37:36 Meanwhile, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh's officials, the captain of the guard. 

말씀선포 ㅣ 창3:1~24절

3:1 그런데 뱀은 여호와 하나님이 지으신 들짐승 중에 가장 간교하니라 뱀이 여자에게 물어 이르되 하나님이 참으로 너희에게 동산 모든 나무의 열매를 먹지 말라 하시더냐  

3:2 여자가 뱀에게 말하되 동산 나무의 열매를 우리가 먹을 수 있으나  

3:3 동산 중앙에 있는 나무의 열매는 하나님의 말씀에 너희는 먹지도 말고 만지지도 말라 너희가 죽을까 하노라 하셨느니라  

3:4 뱀이 여자에게 이르되 너희가 결코 죽지 아니하리라  

3:5 너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아져 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄 하나님이 아심이니라  

3:6 여자가 그 나무를 본즉 먹음직도 하고 보암직도 하고 지혜롭게 할 만큼 탐스럽기도 한 나무인지라 여자가 그 열매를 따먹고 자기와 함께 있는 남편에게도 주매 그도 먹은지라  

3:7 이에 그들의 눈이 밝아져 자기들이 벗은 줄을 알고 무화과나무 잎을 엮어 치마로 삼았더라  

3:8 그들이 그 날 바람이 불 때 동산에 거니시는 여호와 하나님의 소리를 듣고 아담과 그의 아내가 여호와 하나님의 낯을 피하여 동산 나무 사이에 숨은지라  

3:9 여호와 하나님이 아담을 부르시며 그에게 이르시되 네가 어디 있느냐  

3:10 이르되 내가 동산에서 하나님의 소리를 듣고 내가 벗었으므로 두려워하여 숨었나이다  

3:11 이르시되 누가 너의 벗었음을 네게 알렸느냐 내가 네게 먹지 말라 명한 그 나무 열매를 네가 먹었느냐  

3:12 아담이 이르되 하나님이 주셔서 나와 함께 있게 하신 여자 그가 그 나무 열매를 내게 주므로 내가 먹었나이다  

3:13 여호와 하나님이 여자에게 이르시되 네가 어찌하여 이렇게 하였느냐 여자가 이르되 뱀이 나를 꾀므로 내가 먹었나이다  

3:14 여호와 하나님이 뱀에게 이르시되 네가 이렇게 하였으니 네가 모든 가축과 들의 모든 짐승보다 더욱 저주를 받아 배로 다니고 살아 있는 동안 흙을 먹을지니라  

3:15 내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게 하고 네 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고  

3:16 또 여자에게 이르시되 내가 네게 임신하는 고통을 크게 더하리니 네가 수고하고 자식을 낳을 것이며 너는 남편을 원하고 남편은 너를 다스릴 것이니라 하시고  

3:17 아담에게 이르시되 네가 네 아내의 말을 듣고 내가 네게 먹지 말라 한 나무의 열매를 먹었은즉 땅은 너로 말미암아 저주를 받고 너는 네 평생에 수고하여야 그 소산을 먹으리라  

3:18 땅이 네게 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴를 낼 것이라 네가 먹을 것은 밭의 채소인즉  

3:19 네가 흙으로 돌아갈 때까지 얼굴에 땀을 흘려야 먹을 것을 먹으리니 네가 그것에서 취함을 입었음이라 너는 흙이니 흙으로 돌아갈 것이니라 하시니라  

3:20 아담이 그의 아내의 이름을 하와라 불렀으니 그는 모든 산 자의 어머니가 됨이더라  

3:21 여호와 하나님이 아담과 그의 아내를 위하여 가죽옷을 지어 입히시니라  

3:22 여호와 하나님이 이르시되 보라 이 사람이 선악을 아는 일에 우리 중 하나 같이 되었으니 그가 그의 손을 들어 생명 나무 열매도 따먹고 영생할까 하노라 하시고  

3:23 여호와 하나님이 에덴 동산에서 그를 내보내어 그의 근원이 된 땅을 갈게 하시니라  

3:24 이같이 하나님이 그 사람을 쫓아내시고 에덴 동산 동쪽에 그룹들과 두루 도는 불 칼을 두어 생명 나무의 길을 지키게 하시니라 

3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"

3:2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,

3:3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"

3:4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.

3:5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

3:9 But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?"

3:10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

3:11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

3:12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

3:13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.

3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

3:16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

3:18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.

3:19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."

3:20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.

3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

3:22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

3:23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

3:24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. 

말씀선포 ㅣ 고전14:1~19절

14:1 사랑을 추구하며 신령한 것들을 사모하되 특별히 예언을 하려고 하라  

14:2 방언을 말하는 자는 사람에게 하지 아니하고 하나님께 하나니 이는 알아 듣는 자가 없고 영으로 비밀을 말함이라  

14:3 그러나 예언하는 자는 사람에게 말하여 덕을 세우며 권면하며 위로하는 것이요  

14:4 방언을 말하는 자는 자기의 덕을 세우고 예언하는 자는 교회의 덕을 세우나니  

14:5 나는 너희가 다 방언 말하기를 원하나 특별히 예언하기를 원하노라 만일 방언을 말하는 자가 통역하여 교회의 덕을 세우지 아니하면 예언하는 자만 못하니라  

14:6 그런즉 형제들아 내가 너희에게 나아가서 방언으로 말하고 계시나 지식이나 예언이나 가르치는 것으로 말하지 아니하면 너희에게 무엇이 유익하리요  

14:7 혹 피리나 거문고와 같이 생명 없는 것이 소리를 낼 때에 그 음의 분별을 나타내지 아니하면 피리 부는 것인지 거문고 타는 것인지 어찌 알게 되리요  

14:8 만일 나팔이 분명하지 못한 소리를 내면 누가 전투를 준비하리요  

14:9 이와 같이 너희도 혀로써 알아 듣기 쉬운 말을 하지 아니하면 그 말하는 것을 어찌 알리요 이는 허공에다 말하는 것이라  

14:10 이같이 세상에 소리의 종류가 많으나 뜻 없는 소리는 없나니  

14:11 그러므로 내가 그 소리의 뜻을 알지 못하면 내가 말하는 자에게 외국인이 되고 말하는 자도 내게 외국인이 되리니  

14:12 그러므로 너희도 영적인 것을 사모하는 자인즉 교회의 덕을 세우기 위하여 그것이 풍성하기를 구하라  

14:13 그러므로 방언을 말하는 자는 통역하기를 기도할지니  

14:14 내가 만일 방언으로 기도하면 나의 영이 기도하거니와 나의 마음은 열매를 맺지 못하리라  

14:15 그러면 어떻게 할까 내가 영으로 기도하고 또 마음으로 기도하며 내가 영으로 찬송하고 또 마음으로 찬송하리라  

14:16 그렇지 아니하면 네가 영으로 축복할 때에 알지 못하는 처지에 있는 자가 네가 무슨 말을 하는지 알지 못하고 네 감사에 어찌 아멘 하리요  

14:17 너는 감사를 잘하였으나 그러나 다른 사람은 덕 세움을 받지 못하리라  

14:18 내가 너희 모든 사람보다 방언을 더 말하므로 하나님께 감사하노라  

14:19 그러나 교회에서 네가 남을 가르치기 위하여 깨달은 마음으로 다섯 마디 말을 하는 것이 일만 마디 방언으로 말하는 것보다 나으니라  

14:1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.

14:2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. Indeed, no one understands him; he utters mysteries with his spirit.

14:3 But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

14:5 I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. He who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified.

14:6 Now, brothers, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?

14:7 Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the flute or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes?

14:8 Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?

14:9 So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.

14:10 Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning.

14:11 If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and he is a foreigner to me.

14:12 So it is with you. Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.

14:13 For this reason anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret what he says.

14:14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.

14:15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.

14:16 If you are praising God with your spirit, how can one who finds himself among those who do not understand say "Amen" to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

14:17 You may be giving thanks well enough, but the other man is not edified.

14:18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.

14:19 But in the church I would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in a tongue.

말씀선포 ㅣ 막4:26~32절

4:26 또 이르시되 하나님의 나라는 사람이 씨를 땅에 뿌림과 같으니  

4:27 그가 밤낮 자고 깨고 하는 중에 씨가 나서 자라되 어떻게 그리 되는지를 알지 못하느니라  

4:28 땅이 스스로 열매를 맺되 처음에는 싹이요 다음에는 이삭이요 그 다음에는 이삭에 충실한 곡식이라  

4:29 열매가 익으면 곧 낫을 대나니 이는 추수 때가 이르렀음이라 

4:30 또 이르시되 우리가 하나님의 나라를 어떻게 비교하며 또 무슨 비유로 나타낼까  

4:31 겨자씨 한 알과 같으니 땅에 심길 때에는 땅 위의 모든 씨보다 작은 것이로되  

4:32 심긴 후에는 자라서 모든 풀보다 커지며 큰 가지를 내나니 공중의 새들이 그 그늘에 깃들일 만큼 되느니라 

4:26 He also said, "This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.

4:27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.

4:28 All by itself the soil produces grain--first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.

4:29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."

4:30 Again he said, "What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it?

4:31 It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground.

4:32 Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade."

말씀선포 ㅣ 막4:35~41절

4:35 그 날 저물 때에 제자들에게 이르시되 우리가 저편으로 건너가자 하시니  

4:36 그들이 무리를 떠나 예수를 배에 계신 그대로 모시고 가매 다른 배들도 함께 하더니  

4:37 큰 광풍이 일어나며 물결이 배에 부딪쳐 들어와 배에 가득하게 되었더라  

4:38 예수께서는 고물에서 베개를 베고 주무시더니 제자들이 깨우며 이르되 선생님이여 우리가 죽게 된 것을 돌보지 아니하시나이까 하니  

4:39 예수께서 깨어 바람을 꾸짖으시며 바다더러 이르시되 잠잠하라 고요하라 하시니 바람이 그치고 아주 잔잔하여지더라  

4:40 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 어찌하여 이렇게 무서워하느냐 너희가 어찌 믿음이 없느냐 하시니  

4:41 그들이 심히 두려워하여 서로 말하되 그가 누구이기에 바람과 바다도 순종하는가 하였더라 

4:35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side."

4:36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.

4:37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.

4:38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"

4:39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

4:40 He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

4:41 They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!" 

말씀선포 ㅣ 수6:1~17절

6:1 이스라엘 자손들로 말미암아 여리고는 굳게 닫혔고 출입하는 자가 없더라  

6:2 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 보라 내가 여리고와 그 왕과 용사들을 네 손에 넘겨 주었으니  

6:3 너희 모든 군사는 그 성을 둘러 성 주위를 매일 한 번씩 돌되 엿새 동안을 그리하라  

6:4 제사장 일곱은 일곱 양각 나팔을 잡고 언약궤 앞에서 나아갈 것이요 일곱째 날에는 그 성을 일곱 번 돌며 그 제사장들은 나팔을 불 것이며  

6:5 제사장들이 양각 나팔을 길게 불어 그 나팔 소리가 너희에게 들릴 때에는 백성은 다 큰 소리로 외쳐 부를 것이라 그리하면 그 성벽이 무너져 내리리니 백성은 각기 앞으로 올라갈지니라 하시매  

6:6 눈의 아들 여호수아가 제사장들을 불러 그들에게 이르되 너희는 언약궤를 메고 제사장 일곱은 양각 나팔 일곱을 잡고 여호와의 궤 앞에서 나아가라 하고  

6:7 또 백성에게 이르되 나아가서 그 성을 돌되 무장한 자들이 여호와의 궤 앞에서 나아갈지니라 하니라  

6:8 여호수아가 백성에게 이르기를 마치매 제사장 일곱은 양각 나팔 일곱을 잡고 여호와 앞에서 나아가며 나팔을 불고 여호와의 언약궤는 그 뒤를 따르며  

6:9 그 무장한 자들은 나팔 부는 제사장들 앞에서 행진하며 후군은 궤 뒤를 따르고 제사장들은 나팔을 불며 행진하더라  

6:10 여호수아가 백성에게 명령하여 이르되 너희는 외치지 말며 너희 음성을 들리게 하지 말며 너희 입에서 아무 말도 내지 말라 그리하다가 내가 너희에게 명령하여 외치라 하는 날에 외칠지니라 하고  

6:11 여호와의 궤가 그 성을 한 번 돌게 하고 그들이 진영으로 들어와서 진영에서 자니라  

6:12 또 여호수아가 아침에 일찍이 일어나니 제사장들이 여호와의 궤를 메고  

6:13 제사장 일곱은 양각 나팔 일곱을 잡고 여호와의 궤 앞에서 계속 행진하며 나팔을 불고 무장한 자들은 그 앞에 행진하며 후군은 여호와의 궤 뒤를 따르고 제사장들은 나팔을 불며 행진하니라  

6:14 그 둘째 날에도 그 성을 한 번 돌고 진영으로 돌아오니라 엿새 동안을 이같이 행하니라  

6:15 일곱째 날 새벽에 그들이 일찍이 일어나서 전과 같은 방식으로 그 성을 일곱 번 도니 그 성을 일곱 번 돌기는 그 날뿐이었더라  

6:16 일곱 번째에 제사장들이 나팔을 불 때에 여호수아가 백성에게 이르되 외치라 여호와께서 너희에게 이 성을 주셨느니라  

6:17 이 성과 그 가운데에 있는 모든 것은 여호와께 온전히 바치되 기생 라합과 그 집에 동거하는 자는 모두 살려 주라 이는 우리가 보낸 사자들을 그가 숨겨 주었음이니라  

6:1 Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

6:2 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.

6:3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days.

6:4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.

6:5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in."

6:6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, "Take up the ark of the covenant of the LORD and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it."

6:7 And he ordered the people, "Advance! March around the city, with the armed guard going ahead of the ark of the LORD."

6:8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the LORD went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the LORD'S covenant followed them.

6:9 The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. All this time the trumpets were sounding.

6:10 But Joshua had commanded the people, "Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!"

6:11 So he had the ark of the LORD carried around the city, circling it once. Then the people returned to camp and spent the night there.

6:12 Joshua got up early the next morning and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

6:13 The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the LORD and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the LORD, while the trumpets kept sounding.

6:14 So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days.

6:15 On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times.

6:16 The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the people, "Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!

6:17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent.

말씀선포 ㅣ 행6:1~15절

6:1 그 때에 제자가 더 많아졌는데 헬라파 유대인들이 자기의 과부들이 매일의 구제에 빠지므로 히브리파 사람을 원망하니  

6:2 열두 사도가 모든 제자를 불러 이르되 우리가 하나님의 말씀을 제쳐 놓고 접대를 일삼는 것이 마땅하지 아니하니  

6:3 형제들아 너희 가운데서 성령과 지혜가 충만하여 칭찬 받는 사람 일곱을 택하라 우리가 이 일을 그들에게 맡기고  

6:4 우리는 오로지 기도하는 일과 말씀 사역에 힘쓰리라 하니  

6:5 온 무리가 이 말을 기뻐하여 믿음과 성령이 충만한 사람 스데반과 또 빌립과 브로고로와 니가노르와 디몬과 바메나와 유대교에 입교했던 안디옥 사람 니골라를 택하여  

6:6 사도들 앞에 세우니 사도들이 기도하고 그들에게 안수하니라 

6:7 하나님의 말씀이 점점 왕성하여 예루살렘에 있는 제자의 수가 더 심히 많아지고 허다한 제사장의 무리도 이 도에 복종하니라 

6:8 스데반이 은혜와 권능이 충만하여 큰 기사와 표적을 민간에 행하니  

6:9 이른 바 자유민들 즉 구레네인, 알렉산드리아인, 길리기아와 아시아에서 온 사람들의 회당에서 어떤 자들이 일어나 스데반과 더불어 논쟁할새  

6:10 스데반이 지혜와 성령으로 말함을 그들이 능히 당하지 못하여  

6:11 사람들을 매수하여 말하게 하되 이 사람이 모세와 하나님을 모독하는 말을 하는 것을 우리가 들었노라 하게 하고  

6:12 백성과 장로와 서기관들을 충동시켜 와서 잡아가지고 공회에 이르러  

6:13 거짓 증인들을 세우니 이르되 이 사람이 이 거룩한 곳과 율법을 거슬러 말하기를 마지 아니하는도다  

6:14 그의 말에 이 나사렛 예수가 이 곳을 헐고 또 모세가 우리에게 전하여 준 규례를 고치겠다 함을 우리가 들었노라 하거늘  

6:15 공회 중에 앉은 사람들이 다 스데반을 주목하여 보니 그 얼굴이 천사의 얼굴과 같더라 

6:1 In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Grecian Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food.

6:2 So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables.

6:3 Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them

6:4 and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word."

6:5 This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism.

6:6 They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.

6:7 So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people.

6:9 Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)--Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia. These men began to argue with Stephen,

6:10 but they could not stand up against his wisdom or the Spirit by whom he spoke.

6:11 Then they secretly persuaded some men to say, "We have heard Stephen speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God."

6:12 So they stirred up the people and the elders and the teachers of the law. They seized Stephen and brought him before the Sanhedrin.

6:13 They produced false witnesses, who testified, "This fellow never stops speaking against this holy place and against the law.

6:14 For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs Moses handed down to us."

6:15 All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel. 

말씀선포 ㅣ 수3:1~17절

3:1 또 여호수아가 아침에 일찍이 일어나서 그와 모든 이스라엘 자손들과 더불어 싯딤에서 떠나 요단에 이르러 건너가기 전에 거기서 유숙하니라  

3:2 사흘 후에 관리들이 진중으로 두루 다니며  

3:3 백성에게 명령하여 이르되 너희는 레위 사람 제사장들이 너희 하나님 여호와의 언약궤 메는 것을 보거든 너희가 있는 곳을 떠나 그 뒤를 따르라  

3:4 그러나 너희와 그 사이 거리가 이천 규빗쯤 되게 하고 그것에 가까이 하지는 말라 그리하면 너희가 행할 길을 알리니 너희가 이전에 이 길을 지나보지 못하였음이니라 하니라  

3:5 여호수아가 또 백성에게 이르되 너희는 자신을 성결하게 하라 여호와께서 내일 너희 가운데에 기이한 일들을 행하시리라  

3:6 여호수아가 또 제사장들에게 말하여 이르되 언약궤를 메고 백성에 앞서 건너라 하매 곧 언약궤를 메고 백성에 앞서 나아가니라  

3:7 여호와께서 여호수아에게 이르시되 내가 오늘부터 시작하여 너를 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 크게 하여 내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이 너와 함께 있는 것을 그들이 알게 하리라  

3:8 너는 언약궤를 멘 제사장들에게 명령하여 이르기를 너희가 요단 물 가에 이르거든 요단에 들어서라 하라  

3:9 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 이리 와서 너희의 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 하고  

3:10 또 말하되 살아 계신 하나님이 너희 가운데에 계시사 가나안 족속과 헷 족속과 히위 족속과 브리스 족속과 기르가스 족속과 아모리 족속과 여부스 족속을 너희 앞에서 반드시 쫓아내실 줄을 이것으로서 너희가 알리라  

3:11 보라 온 땅의 주의 언약궤가 너희 앞에서 요단을 건너가나니  

3:12 이제 이스라엘 지파 중에서 각 지파에 한 사람씩 열두 명을 택하라  

3:13 온 땅의 주 여호와의 궤를 멘 제사장들의 발바닥이 요단 물을 밟고 멈추면 요단 물 곧 위에서부터 흘러내리던 물이 끊어지고 한 곳에 쌓여 서리라  

3:14 백성이 요단을 건너려고 자기들의 장막을 떠날 때에 제사장들은 언약궤를 메고 백성 앞에서 나아가니라  

3:15 요단이 곡식 거두는 시기에는 항상 언덕에 넘치더라 궤를 멘 자들이 요단에 이르며 궤를 멘 제사장들의 발이 물 가에 잠기자  

3:16 곧 위에서부터 흘러내리던 물이 그쳐서 사르단에 가까운 매우 멀리 있는 아담 성읍 변두리에 일어나 한 곳에 쌓이고 아라바의 바다 염해로 향하여 흘러가는 물은 온전히 끊어지매 백성이 여리고 앞으로 바로 건널새  

3:17 여호와의 언약궤를 멘 제사장들은 요단 가운데 마른 땅에 굳게 섰고 그 모든 백성이 요단을 건너기를 마칠 때까지 모든 이스라엘은 그 마른 땅으로 건너갔더라 

3:1 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over.

3:2 After three days the officers went throughout the camp,

3:3 giving orders to the people: "When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, who are Levites, carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it.

3:4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about a thousand yards between you and the ark; do not go near it."

3:5 Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you."

3:6 Joshua said to the priests, "Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people." So they took it up and went ahead of them.

3:7 And the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses.

3:8 Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: 'When you reach the edge of the Jordan's waters, go and stand in the river.'"

3:9 Joshua said to the Israelites, "Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God.

3:10 This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites.

3:11 See, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you.

3:12 Now then, choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe.

3:13 And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the LORD--the Lord of all the earth--set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap."

3:14 So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them.

3:15 Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water's edge,

3:16 the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

3:17 The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground. 

말씀선포 ㅣ 왕상3:15~28절

3:15 솔로몬이 깨어 보니 꿈이더라 이에 예루살렘에 이르러 여호와의 언약궤 앞에 서서 번제와 감사의 제물을 드리고 모든 신하들을 위하여 잔치하였더라  

3:16 그 때에 창기 두 여자가 왕에게 와서 그 앞에 서며  

3:17 한 여자는 말하되 내 주여 나와 이 여자가 한집에서 사는데 내가 그와 함께 집에 있으며 해산하였더니  

3:18 내가 해산한 지 사흘 만에 이 여자도 해산하고 우리가 함께 있었고 우리 둘 외에는 집에 다른 사람이 없었나이다  

3:19 그런데 밤에 저 여자가 그의 아들 위에 누우므로 그의 아들이 죽으니  

3:20 그가 밤중에 일어나서 이 여종 내가 잠든 사이에 내 아들을 내 곁에서 가져다가 자기의 품에 누이고 자기의 죽은 아들을 내 품에 뉘었나이다 

3:21 아침에 내가 내 아들을 젖 먹이려고 일어나 본즉 죽었기로 내가 아침에 자세히 보니 내가 낳은 아들이 아니더이다 하매  

3:22 다른 여자는 이르되 아니라 산 것은 내 아들이요 죽은 것은 네 아들이라 하고 이 여자는 이르되 아니라 죽은 것이 네 아들이요 산 것이 내 아들이라 하며 왕 앞에서 그와 같이 쟁론하는지라  

3:23 왕이 이르되 이 여자는 말하기를 산 것은 내 아들이요 죽은 것은 네 아들이라 하고 저 여자는 말하기를 아니라 죽은 것이 네 아들이요 산 것이 내 아들이라 하는도다 하고  

3:24 또 이르되 칼을 내게로 가져오라 하니 칼을 왕 앞으로 가져온지라  

3:25 왕이 이르되 산 아이를 둘로 나누어 반은 이 여자에게 주고 반은 저 여자에게 주라  

3:26 그 산 아들의 어머니 되는 여자가 그 아들을 위하여 마음이 불붙는 것 같아서 왕께 아뢰어 청하건대 내 주여 산 아이를 그에게 주시고 아무쪼록 죽이지 마옵소서 하되 다른 여자는 말하기를 내 것도 되게 말고 네 것도 되게 말고 나누게 하라 하는지라  

3:27 왕이 대답하여 이르되 산 아이를 저 여자에게 주고 결코 죽이지 말라 저가 그의 어머니이니라 하매  

3:28 온 이스라엘이 왕이 심리하여 판결함을 듣고 왕을 두려워하였으니 이는 하나님의 지혜가 그의 속에 있어 판결함을 봄이더라 

3:15 Then Solomon awoke--and he realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem, stood before the ark of the Lord's covenant and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then he gave a feast for all his court.

3:16 Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

3:17 One of them said, "My lord, this woman and I live in the same house. I had a baby while she was there with me.

3:18 The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one in the house but the two of us.

3:19 "During the night this woman's son died because she lay on him.

3:20 So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I your servant was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.

3:21 The next morning, I got up to nurse my son--and he was dead! But when I looked at him closely in the morning light, I saw that it wasn't the son I had borne."

3:22 The other woman said, "No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours." But the first one insisted, "No! The dead one is yours; the living one is mine." And so they argued before the king.

3:23 The king said, "This one says, 'My son is alive and your son is dead,' while that one says, 'No! Your son is dead and mine is alive.'"

3:24 Then the king said, "Bring me a sword." So they brought a sword for the king.

3:25 He then gave an order: "Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other."

3:26 The woman whose son was alive was filled with compassion for her son and said to the king, "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don't kill him!" But the other said, "Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!"

3:27 Then the king gave his ruling: "Give the living baby to the first woman. Do not kill him; she is his mother."

3:28 When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe, because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice. 

말씀선포 ㅣ 삼상7:3~17절

7:3 사무엘이 이스라엘 온 족속에게 말하여 이르되 만일 너희가 전심으로 여호와께 돌아오려거든 이방 신들과 아스다롯을 너희 중에서 제거하고 너희 마음을 여호와께로 향하여 그만을 섬기라 그리하면 너희를 블레셋 사람의 손에서 건져내시리라  

7:4 이에 이스라엘 자손이 바알들과 아스다롯을 제거하고 여호와만 섬기니라  

7:5 사무엘이 이르되 온 이스라엘은 미스바로 모이라 내가 너희를 위하여 여호와께 기도하리라 하매  

7:6 그들이 미스바에 모여 물을 길어 여호와 앞에 붓고 그 날 종일 금식하고 거기에서 이르되 우리가 여호와께 범죄하였나이다 하니라 사무엘이 미스바에서 이스라엘 자손을 다스리니라  

7:7 이스라엘 자손이 미스바에 모였다 함을 블레셋 사람들이 듣고 그들의 방백들이 이스라엘을 치러 올라온지라 이스라엘 자손들이 듣고 블레셋 사람들을 두려워하여  

7:8 이스라엘 자손이 사무엘에게 이르되 당신은 우리를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와께 쉬지 말고 부르짖어 우리를 블레셋 사람들의 손에서 구원하시게 하소서 하니  

7:9 사무엘이 젖 먹는 어린 양 하나를 가져다가 온전한 번제를 여호와께 드리고 이스라엘을 위하여 여호와께 부르짖으매 여호와께서 응답하셨더라  

7:10 사무엘이 번제를 드릴 때에 블레셋 사람이 이스라엘과 싸우려고 가까이 오매 그 날에 여호와께서 블레셋 사람에게 큰 우레를 발하여 그들을 어지럽게 하시니 그들이 이스라엘 앞에 패한지라  

7:11 이스라엘 사람들이 미스바에서 나가서 블레셋 사람들을 추격하여 벧갈 아래에 이르기까지 쳤더라  

7:12 사무엘이 돌을 취하여 미스바와 센 사이에 세워 이르되 여호와께서 여기까지 우리를 도우셨다 하고 그 이름을 에벤에셀이라 하니라  

7:13 이에 블레셋 사람들이 굴복하여 다시는 이스라엘 지역 안에 들어오지 못하였으며 여호와의 손이 사무엘이 사는 날 동안에 블레셋 사람을 막으시매  

7:14 블레셋 사람들이 이스라엘에게서 빼앗았던 성읍이 에그론부터 가드까지 이스라엘에게 회복되니 이스라엘이 그 사방 지역을 블레셋 사람들의 손에서 도로 찾았고 또 이스라엘과 아모리 사람 사이에 평화가 있었더라  

7:15 사무엘이 사는 날 동안에 이스라엘을 다스렸으되  

7:16 해마다 벧엘과 길갈과 미스바로 순회하여 그 모든 곳에서 이스라엘을 다스렸고  

7:17 라마로 돌아왔으니 이는 거기에 자기 집이 있음이니라 거기서도 이스라엘을 다스렸으며 또 거기에 여호와를 위하여 제단을 쌓았더라 

7:3 And Samuel said to the whole house of Israel, "If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the LORD and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."

7:4 So the Israelites put away their Baals and Ashtoreths, and served the LORD only.

7:5 Then Samuel said, "Assemble all Israel at Mizpah and I will intercede with the LORD for you."

7:6 When they had assembled at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the LORD. On that day they fasted and there they confessed, "We have sinned against the LORD." And Samuel was leader of Israel at Mizpah.

7:7 When the Philistines heard that Israel had assembled at Mizpah, the rulers of the Philistines came up to attack them. And when the Israelites heard of it, they were afraid because of the Philistines.

7:8 They said to Samuel, "Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines."

7:9 Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it up as a whole burnt offering to the LORD. He cried out to the LORD on Israel's behalf, and the LORD answered him.

7:10 While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the LORD thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites.

7:11 The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Car.

7:12 Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far has the LORD helped us."

7:13 So the Philistines were subdued and did not invade Israelite territory again. Throughout Samuel's lifetime, the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines.

7:14 The towns from Ekron to Gath that the Philistines had captured from Israel were restored to her, and Israel delivered the neighboring territory from the power of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.

7:15 Samuel continued as judge over Israel all the days of his life.

7:16 From year to year he went on a circuit from Bethel to Gilgal to Mizpah, judging Israel in all those places.

7:17 But he always went back to Ramah, where his home was, and there he also judged Israel. And he built an altar there to the LORD.
