요15:1~17절

15:1 나는 참포도나무요 내 아버지는 농부라  

15:2 무릇 내게 붙어 있어 열매를 맺지 아니하는 가지는 아버지께서 그것을 제거해 버리시고 무릇 열매를 맺는 가지는 더 열매를 맺게 하려 하여 그것을 깨끗하게 하시느니라  

15:3 너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하여졌으니  

15:4 내 안에 거하라 나도 너희 안에 거하리라 가지가 포도나무에 붙어 있지 아니하면 스스로 열매를 맺을 수 없음 같이 너희도 내 안에 있지 아니하면 그러하리라  

15:5 나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라  

15:6 사람이 내 안에 거하지 아니하면 가지처럼 밖에 버려져 마르나니 사람들이 그것을 모아다가 불에 던져 사르느니라  

15:7 너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라  

15:8 너희가 열매를 많이 맺으면 내 아버지께서 영광을 받으실 것이요 너희는 내 제자가 되리라  

15:9 아버지께서 나를 사랑하신 것 같이 나도 너희를 사랑하였으니 나의 사랑 안에 거하라  

15:10 내가 아버지의 계명을 지켜 그의 사랑 안에 거하는 것 같이 너희도 내 계명을 지키면 내 사랑 안에 거하리라  

15:11 내가 이것을 너희에게 이름은 내 기쁨이 너희 안에 있어 너희 기쁨을 충만하게 하려 함이라  

15:12 내 계명은 곧 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라 하는 이것이니라  

15:13 사람이 친구를 위하여 자기 목숨을 버리면 이보다 더 큰 사랑이 없나니  

15:14 너희는 내가 명하는 대로 행하면 곧 나의 친구라  

15:15 이제부터는 너희를 종이라 하지 아니하리니 종은 주인이 하는 것을 알지 못함이라 너희를 친구라 하였노니 내가 내 아버지께 들은 것을 다 너희에게 알게 하였음이라  

15:16 너희가 나를 택한 것이 아니요 내가 너희를 택하여 세웠나니 이는 너희로 가서 열매를 맺게 하고 또 너희 열매가 항상 있게 하여 내 이름으로 아버지께 무엇을 구하든지 다 받게 하려 함이라  

15:17 내가 이것을 너희에게 명함은 너희로 서로 사랑하게 하려 함이라  

15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, 

while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

15:3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

15:4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; 

it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, 

he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

15:6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; 

such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, 

and it will be given you.

15:8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, 

showing yourselves to be my disciples.

15:9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

15:10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, 

just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.

15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. 

Instead, I have called you friends, for everything 

that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. 

Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

15:17 This is my command: Love each other.

눅19:1~11

19:1 예수께서 여리고로 들어가 지나가시더라  

19:2 삭개오라 이름하는 자가 있으니 세리장이요 또한 부자라  

19:3 그가 예수께서 어떠한 사람인가 하여 보고자 하되 키가 작고 사람이 많아 할 수 없어  

19:4 앞으로 달려가서 보기 위하여 돌무화과나무에 올라가니 이는 예수께서 그리로 지나가시게 됨이러라  

19:5 예수께서 그 곳에 이르사 쳐다 보시고 이르시되 삭개오야 속히 내려오라 내가 오늘 네 집에 유하여야 하겠다 하시니  

19:6 급히 내려와 즐거워하며 영접하거늘  

19:7 뭇 사람이 보고 수군거려 이르되 저가 죄인의 집에 유하러 들어갔도다 하더라  

19:8 삭개오가 서서 주께 여짜오되 주여 보시옵소서 내 소유의 절반을 가난한 자들에게 주겠사오며 만일 누구의 것을 속여 빼앗은 일이 있으면 네 갑절이나 갚겠나이다  

19:9 예수께서 이르시되 오늘 구원이 이 집에 이르렀으니 이 사람도 아브라함의 자손임이로다  

19:10 인자가 온 것은 잃어버린 자를 찾아 구원하려 함이니라 

19:11 그들이 이 말씀을 듣고 있을 때에 비유를 더하여 말씀하시니 이는 자기가 예루살렘에 가까이 오셨고 그들은 하나님의 나라가 당장에 나타날 줄로 생각함이더라  

19:1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.

19:2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.

19:3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd.

19:4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.

19:5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today."

19:6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.

19:7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a 'sinner.'"

19:8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."

19:9 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

19:11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once.

고전15:35~52

15:35 누가 묻기를 죽은 자들이 어떻게 다시 살아나며 어떠한 몸으로 오느냐 하리니  

15:36 어리석은 자여 네가 뿌리는 씨가 죽지 않으면 살아나지 못하겠고  

15:37 또 네가 뿌리는 것은 장래의 형체를 뿌리는 것이 아니요 다만 밀이나 다른 것의 알맹이 뿐이로되  

15:38 하나님이 그 뜻대로 그에게 형체를 주시되 각 종자에게 그 형체를 주시느니라  

15:39 육체는 다 같은 육체가 아니니 하나는 사람의 육체요 하나는 짐승의 육체요 하나는 새의 육체요 하나는 물고기의 육체라  

15:40 하늘에 속한 형체도 있고 땅에 속한 형체도 있으나 하늘에 속한 것의 영광이 따로 있고 땅에 속한 것의 영광이 따로 있으니  

15:41 해의 영광이 다르고 달의 영광이 다르며 별의 영광도 다른데 별과 별의 영광이 다르도다  

15:42 죽은 자의 부활도 그와 같으니 썩을 것으로 심고 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살아나며  

15:43 욕된 것으로 심고 영광스러운 것으로 다시 살아나며 약한 것으로 심고 강한 것으로 다시 살아나며  

15:44 육의 몸으로 심고 신령한 몸으로 다시 살아나나니 육의 몸이 있은즉 또 영의 몸도 있느니라  

15:45 기록된 바 첫 사람 아담은 생령이 되었다 함과 같이 마지막 아담은 살려 주는 영이 되었나니  

15:46 그러나 먼저는 신령한 사람이 아니요 육의 사람이요 그 다음에 신령한 사람이니라  

15:47 첫 사람은 땅에서 났으니 흙에 속한 자이거니와 둘째 사람은 하늘에서 나셨느니라  

15:48 무릇 흙에 속한 자들은 저 흙에 속한 자와 같고 무릇 하늘에 속한 자들은 저 하늘에 속한 이와 같으니  

15:49 우리가 흙에 속한 자의 형상을 입은 것 같이 또한 하늘에 속한 이의 형상을 입으리라  

15:50 형제들아 내가 이것을 말하노니 혈과 육은 하나님 나라를 이어 받을 수 없고 또한 썩는 것은 썩지 아니하는 것을 유업으로 받지 못하느니라  

15:51 보라 내가 너희에게 비밀을 말하노니 우리가 다 잠 잘 것이 아니요 마지막 나팔에 순식간에 홀연히 다 변화되리니  

15:52 나팔 소리가 나매 죽은 자들이 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살아나고 우리도 변화되리라  

15:35 But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?"

15:36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

15:37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else.

15:38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

15:39 All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.

15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

15:41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

15:42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;

15:43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

15:44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

15:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

15:46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.

15:47 The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.

15:48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.

15:49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.

15:50 I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

15:51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed--

15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

마24:32~51

24:32 무화과나무의 비유를 배우라 그 가지가 연하여지고 잎사귀를 내면 여름이 가까운 줄을 아나니  

24:33 이와 같이 너희도 이 모든 일을 보거든 인자가 가까이 곧 문 앞에 이른 줄 알라  

24:34 내가 진실로 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 지나가기 전에 이 일이 다 일어나리라  

24:35 천지는 없어질지언정 내 말은 없어지지 아니하리라  

24:36 그러나 그 날과 그 때는 아무도 모르나니 하늘의 천사들도, 아들도 모르고 오직 아버지만 아시느니라  

24:37 노아의 때와 같이 인자의 임함도 그러하리라  

24:38 홍수 전에 노아가 방주에 들어가던 날까지 사람들이 먹고 마시고 장가 들고 시집 가고 있으면서  

24:39 홍수가 나서 그들을 다 멸하기까지 깨닫지 못하였으니 인자의 임함도 이와 같으리라  

24:40 그 때에 두 사람이 밭에 있으매 한 사람은 데려가고 한 사람은 버려둠을 당할 것이요  

24:41 두 여자가 맷돌질을 하고 있으매 한 사람은 데려가고 한 사람은 버려둠을 당할 것이니라  

24:42 그러므로 깨어 있으라 어느 날에 너희 주가 임할는지 너희가 알지 못함이니라  

24:43 너희도 아는 바니 만일 집 주인이 도둑이 어느 시각에 올 줄을 알았더라면 깨어 있어 그 집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라  

24:44 이러므로 너희도 준비하고 있으라 생각하지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라  

24:45 충성되고 지혜 있는 종이 되어 주인에게 그 집 사람들을 맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나눠 줄 자가 누구냐  

24:46 주인이 올 때에 그 종이 이렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종이 복이 있으리로다  

24:47 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 그의 모든 소유를 그에게 맡기리라  

24:48 만일 그 악한 종이 마음에 생각하기를 주인이 더디 오리라 하여  

24:49 동료들을 때리며 술친구들과 더불어 먹고 마시게 되면  

24:50 생각하지 않은 날 알지 못하는 시각에 그 종의 주인이 이르러  

24:51 엄히 때리고 외식하는 자가 받는 벌에 처하리니 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈리라 

[Awake and Prepare_lest you be abandoned]

24:32 

"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: 

As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, 

you know that summer is near.

24:33 

Even so, when you see all these things, 

you know that it is near, right at the door.

24:34 

I tell you the truth, 

this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

24:35 

Heaven and earth will pass away, 

but my words will never pass away.

24:36 

"No one knows about that day or hour, 

not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

24:37 

As it was in the days of Noah, 

so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

24:38 

For in the days before the flood, 

people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, 

up to the day Noah entered the ark;

24:39 

and they knew nothing about what would happen 

until the flood came and took them all away. 

That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

24:40 

Two men will be in the field; 

one will be taken and the other left.

24:41 

Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; 

one will be taken and the other left.

24:42 

"Therefore keep watch, 

because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

24:43 

But understand this: 

If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, 

he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

24:44 

So you also must be ready, 

because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

24:45 

"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, 

whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household 

to give them their food at the proper time?

24:46 

It will be good for that servant 

whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

24:47 

I tell you the truth, 

he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

24:48 

But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself,

 'My master is staying away a long time,'

24:49 

and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and 

to eat and drink with drunkards.

24:50 

The master of that servant will come on a day 

when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.

24:51 

He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, 

where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 

욘1:1~17

1:1 여호와의 말씀이 아밋대의 아들 요나에게 임하니라 이르시되  

1:2 너는 일어나 저 큰 성읍 니느웨로 가서 그것을 향하여 외치라 그 악독이 내 앞에 상달되었음이니라 하시니라  

1:3 그러나 요나가 여호와의 얼굴을 피하려고 일어나 다시스로 도망하려 하여 욥바로 내려갔더니 마침 다시스로 가는 배를 만난지라 여호와의 얼굴을 피하여 그들과 함께 다시스로 가려고 배삯을 주고 배에 올랐더라  

1:4 여호와께서 큰 바람을 바다 위에 내리시매 바다 가운데에 큰 폭풍이 일어나 배가 거의 깨지게 된지라  

1:5 사공들이 두려워하여 각각 자기의 신을 부르고 또 배를 가볍게 하려고 그 가운데 물건들을 바다에 던지니라 그러나 요나는 배 밑층에 내려가서 누워 깊이 잠이 든지라  

1:6 선장이 그에게 가서 이르되 자는 자여 어찌함이냐 일어나서 네 하나님께 구하라 혹시 하나님이 우리를 생각하사 망하지 아니하게 하시리라 하니라  

1:7 그들이 서로 이르되, 자 우리가 제비를 뽑아 이 재앙이 누구로 말미암아 우리에게 임하였나 알아 보자 하고 곧 제비를 뽑으니 제비가 요나에게 뽑힌지라  

1:8 무리가 그에게 이르되 청하건대 이 재앙이 누구 때문에 우리에게 임하였는가 말하라 네 생업이 무엇이며 네가 어디서 왔으며 네 나라가 어디며 어느 민족에 속하였느냐 하니  

1:9 그가 대답하되 나는 히브리 사람이요 바다와 육지를 지으신 하늘의 하나님 여호와를 경외하는 자로라 하고  

1:10 자기가 여호와의 얼굴을 피함인 줄을 그들에게 말하였으므로 무리가 알고 심히 두려워하여 이르되 네가 어찌하여 그렇게 행하였느냐 하니라  

1:11 바다가 점점 흉용한지라 무리가 그에게 이르되 우리가 너를 어떻게 하여야 바다가 우리를 위하여 잔잔하겠느냐 하니  

1:12 그가 대답하되 나를 들어 바다에 던지라 그리하면 바다가 너희를 위하여 잔잔하리라 너희가 이 큰 폭풍을 만난 것이 나 때문인 줄을 내가 아노라 하니라  

1:13 그러나 그 사람들이 힘써 노를 저어 배를 육지로 돌리고자 하다가 바다가 그들을 향하여 점점 더 흉용하므로 능히 못한지라  

1:14 무리가 여호와께 부르짖어 이르되 여호와여 구하고 구하오니 이 사람의 생명 때문에 우리를 멸망시키지 마옵소서 무죄한 피를 우리에게 돌리지 마옵소서 주 여호와께서는 주의 뜻대로 행하심이니이다 하고  

1:15 요나를 들어 바다에 던지매 바다가 뛰노는 것이 곧 그친지라  

1:16 그 사람들이 여호와를 크게 두려워하여 여호와께 제물을 드리고 서원을 하였더라  

1:17 여호와께서 이미 큰 물고기를 예비하사 요나를 삼키게 하셨으므로 요나가 밤낮 삼 일을 물고기 뱃속에 있으니라 

1:1 

The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai:

1:2 

"Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, 

because its wickedness has come up before me."

1:3 

But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. 

He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. 

After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.

1:4 

Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, 

and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.

1:5 

All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. 

And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship. 

But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.

1:6 

The captain went to him and said, 

"How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! 

Maybe he will take notice of us, and we will not perish."

1:7 

Then the sailors said to each other, 

"Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity." 

They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.

1:8

So they asked him,

"Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us?

What do you do? Where do you come from? 

What is your country? From what people are you?"

1:9 

He answered, "I am a Hebrew and I worship the LORD, 

the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land."

1:10 

This terrified them and they asked, "What have you done?"

 (They knew he was running away from the LORD, 

because he had already told them so.)

1:11 

The sea was getting rougher and rougher. 

So they asked him, 

"What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?"

1:12 

"Pick me up and throw me into the sea," he replied,

 "and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that 

this great storm has come upon you."

1:13 

Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. 

But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before.

1:14 

Then they cried to the LORD, 

"O LORD, please do not let us die for taking this man's life. 

Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, 

O LORD, have done as you pleased."

1:15 

Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, 

and the raging sea grew calm.

1:16 

At this the men greatly feared the LORD, 

and they offered a sacrifice to the LORD and made vows to him.

1:17 

But the LORD provided a great fish to swallow Jonah,

and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights. 

성찬주일예배

요2:1~11

2:1 사흘째 되던 날 갈릴리 가나에 혼례가 있어 예수의 어머니도 거기 계시고  

2:2 예수와 그 제자들도 혼례에 청함을 받았더니  

2:3 포도주가 떨어진지라 예수의 어머니가 예수에게 이르되 저들에게 포도주가 없다 하니  

2:4 예수께서 이르시되 여자여 나와 무슨 상관이 있나이까 내 때가 아직 이르지 아니하였나이다  

2:5 그의 어머니가 하인들에게 이르되 너희에게 무슨 말씀을 하시든지 그대로 하라 하니라  

2:6 거기에 유대인의 정결 예식을 따라 두세 통 드는 돌항아리 여섯이 놓였는지라  

2:7 예수께서 그들에게 이르시되 항아리에 물을 채우라 하신즉 아귀까지 채우니  

2:8 이제는 떠서 연회장에게 갖다 주라 하시매 갖다 주었더니  

2:9 연회장은 물로 된 포도주를 맛보고도 어디서 났는지 알지 못하되 물 떠온 하인들은 알더라 연회장이 신랑을 불러  

2:10 말하되 사람마다 먼저 좋은 포도주를 내고 취한 후에 낮은 것을 내거늘 그대는 지금까지 좋은 포도주를 두었도다 하니라  

2:11 예수께서 이 첫 표적을 갈릴리 가나에서 행하여 그의 영광을 나타내시매 제자들이 그를 믿으니라 

2:1 

On the third day a wedding took place 

at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,

2:2 

and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.

2:3 

When the wine was gone, 

Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."

2:4 

"Dear woman, why do you involve me?" 

Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."

2:5 

His mother said to the servants, 

"Do whatever he tells you."

2:6 

Nearby stood six stone water jars, 

the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing,

each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.

2:7 

Jesus said to the servants, 

"Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.

2:8

Then he told them, 

"Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so,

2:9 

and the master of the banquet tasted the water 

that had been turned into wine. He did not realize 
where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. 
Then he called the bridegroom aside

2:10 

and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first 

and then the cheaper wine after the guests 
have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."

2:11 This, the first of his miraculous signs, 

Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

■ 잠16:9절

1. 걸음을 인도하시는 여호와  (= 말의 응답과 모든 일을 작정하시는 분) 

누가복음 2:21~40절

2:21 할례할 팔 일이 되매 그 이름을 예수라 하니 곧 잉태하기 전에 천사가 일컬은 바러라 

2:22 모세의 법대로 정결예식의 날이 차매 아기를 데리고 예루살렘에 올라가니  

2:23 이는 주의 율법에 쓴 바 첫 태에 처음 난 남자마다 주의 거룩한 자라 하리라 한 대로 아기를 주께 드리고  

2:24 또 주의 율법에 말씀하신 대로 산비둘기 한 쌍이나 혹은 어린 집비둘기 둘로 제사하려 함이더라  

2:25 예루살렘에 시므온이라 하는 사람이 있으니 이 사람은 의롭고 경건하여 이스라엘의 위로를 기다리는 자라 성령이 그 위에 계시더라  

2:26 그가 주의 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽지 아니하리라 하는 성령의 지시를 받았더니  

2:27 성령의 감동으로 성전에 들어가매 마침 부모가 율법의 관례대로 행하고자 하여 그 아기 예수를 데리고 오는지라  

2:28 시므온이 아기를 안고 하나님을 찬송하여 이르되  

2:29 주재여 이제는 말씀하신 대로 종을 평안히 놓아 주시는도다  

2:30 내 눈이 주의 구원을 보았사오니  

2:31 이는 만민 앞에 예비하신 것이요  

2:32 이방을 비추는 빛이요 주의 백성 이스라엘의 영광이니이다 하니  

2:33 그의 부모가 그에 대한 말들을 놀랍게 여기더라  

2:34 시므온이 그들에게 축복하고 그의 어머니 마리아에게 말하여 이르되 보라 이는 이스라엘 중 많은 사람을 패하거나 흥하게 하며 비방을 받는 표적이 되기 위하여 세움을 받았고  

2:35 또 칼이 네 마음을 찌르듯 하리니 이는 여러 사람의 마음의 생각을 드러내려 함이니라 하더라  

2:36 또 아셀 지파 바누엘의 딸 안나라 하는 선지자가 있어 나이가 매우 많았더라 그가 결혼한 후 일곱 해 동안 남편과 함께 살다가  

2:37 과부가 되고 팔십사 세가 되었더라 이 사람이 성전을 떠나지 아니하고 주야로 금식하며 기도함으로 섬기더니  

2:38 마침 이 때에 나아와서 하나님께 감사하고 예루살렘의 속량을 바라는 모든 사람에게 그에 대하여 말하니라  

2:39 주의 율법을 따라 모든 일을 마치고 갈릴리로 돌아가 본 동네 나사렛에 이르니라 

2:40 아기가 자라며 강하여지고 지혜가 충만하며 하나님의 은혜가 그의 위에 있더라 

2:21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived.

2:22 When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

2:23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord"),

2:24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: "a pair of doves or two young pigeons."

2:25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

2:26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

2:27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required,

2:28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

2:29 "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace.

2:30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,

2:31 which you have prepared in the sight of all people,

2:32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."

2:33 The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him.

2:34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against,

2:35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too."

2:36 There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage,

2:37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.

2:38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

2:39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.

2:40 And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

마태복음2:1~23

2:1 헤롯 왕 때에 예수께서 유대 베들레헴에서 나시매 동방으로부터 박사들이 예루살렘에 이르러 말하되  

2:2 유대인의 왕으로 나신 이가 어디 계시냐 우리가 동방에서 그의 별을 보고 그에게 경배하러 왔노라 하니  

2:3 헤롯 왕과 온 예루살렘이 듣고 소동한지라  

2:4 왕이 모든 대제사장과 백성의 서기관들을 모아 그리스도가 어디서 나겠느냐 물으니  

2:5 이르되 유대 베들레헴이오니 이는 선지자로 이렇게 기록된 바  

2:6 또 유대 땅 베들레헴아 너는 유대 고을 중에서 가장 작지 아니하도다 네게서 한 다스리는 자가 나와서 내 백성 이스라엘의 목자가 되리라 하였음이니이다  

2:7 이에 헤롯이 가만히 박사들을 불러 별이 나타난 때를 자세히 묻고  

2:8 베들레헴으로 보내며 이르되 가서 아기에 대하여 자세히 알아보고 찾거든 내게 고하여 나도 가서 그에게 경배하게 하라  

2:9 박사들이 왕의 말을 듣고 갈새 동방에서 보던 그 별이 문득 앞서 인도하여 가다가 아기 있는 곳 위에 머물러 서 있는지라  

2:10 그들이 별을 보고 매우 크게 기뻐하고 기뻐하더라  

2:11 집에 들어가 아기와 그의 어머니 마리아가 함께 있는 것을 보고 엎드려 아기께 경배하고 보배합을 열어 황금과 유향과 몰약을 예물로 드리니라  

2:12 그들은 꿈에 헤롯에게로 돌아가지 말라 지시하심을 받아 다른 길로 고국에 돌아가니라  

2:13 그들이 떠난 후에 주의 사자가 요셉에게 현몽하여 이르되 헤롯이 아기를 찾아 죽이려 하니 일어나 아기와 그의 어머니를 데리고 애굽으로 피하여 내가 네게 이르기까지 거기 있으라 하시니  

2:14 요셉이 일어나서 밤에 아기와 그의 어머니를 데리고 애굽으로 떠나가  

2:15 헤롯이 죽기까지 거기 있었으니 이는 주께서 선지자를 통하여 말씀하신 바 애굽으로부터 내 아들을 불렀다 함을 이루려 하심이라  

2:16 이에 헤롯이 박사들에게 속은 줄 알고 심히 노하여 사람을 보내어 베들레헴과 그 모든 지경 안에 있는 사내아이를 박사들에게 자세히 알아본 그 때를 기준하여 두 살부터 그 아래로 다 죽이니  

2:17 이에 선지자 예레미야를 통하여 말씀하신 바  

2:18 라마에서 슬퍼하며 크게 통곡하는 소리가 들리니 라헬이 그 자식을 위하여 애곡하는 것이라 그가 자식이 없으므로 위로 받기를 거절하였도다 함이 이루어졌느니라  

2:19 헤롯이 죽은 후에 주의 사자가 애굽에서 요셉에게 현몽하여 이르되  

2:20 일어나 아기와 그의 어머니를 데리고 이스라엘 땅으로 가라 아기의 목숨을 찾던 자들이 죽었느니라 하시니  

2:21 요셉이 일어나 아기와 그의 어머니를 데리고 이스라엘 땅으로 들어가니라  

2:22 그러나 아켈라오가 그의 아버지 헤롯을 이어 유대의 임금 됨을 듣고 거기로 가기를 무서워하더니 꿈에 지시하심을 받아 갈릴리 지방으로 떠나가  

2:23 나사렛이란 동네에 가서 사니 이는 선지자로 하신 말씀에 나사렛 사람이라 칭하리라 하심을 이루려 함이러라 

2:1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem

2:2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."

2:3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.

2:4 When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.

2:5 "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:

2:6 "'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'"

2:7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.

2:8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."

2:9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

2:10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.

2:11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.

2:12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

2:13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him."

2:14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt,

2:15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

2:16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.

2:17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:

2:18 "A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more."

2:19 After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt

2:20 and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child's life are dead."

2:21 So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.

2:22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee,

2:23 and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene." 

말씀선포 ㅣ 삼상17:36~54절

17:36 주의 종이 사자와 곰도 쳤은즉 살아 계시는 하나님의 군대를 모욕한 이 할례 받지 않은 블레셋 사람이리이까 그가 그 짐승의 하나와 같이 되리이다  

17:37 또 다윗이 이르되 여호와께서 나를 사자의 발톱과 곰의 발톱에서 건져내셨은즉 나를 이 블레셋 사람의 손에서도 건져내시리이다 사울이 다윗에게 이르되 가라 여호와께서 너와 함께 계시기를 원하노라  

17:38 이에 사울이 자기 군복을 다윗에게 입히고 놋 투구를 그의 머리에 씌우고 또 그에게 갑옷을 입히매  

17:39 다윗이 칼을 군복 위에 차고는 익숙하지 못하므로 시험적으로 걸어 보다가 사울에게 말하되 익숙하지 못하니 이것을 입고 가지 못하겠나이다 하고 곧 벗고  

17:40 손에 막대기를 가지고 시내에서 매끄러운 돌 다섯을 골라서 자기 목자의 제구 곧 주머니에 넣고 손에 물매를 가지고 블레셋 사람에게로 나아가니라  

17:41 블레셋 사람이 방패 든 사람을 앞세우고 다윗에게로 점점 가까이 나아가니라  

17:42 그 블레셋 사람이 둘러보다가 다윗을 보고 업신여기니 이는 그가 젊고 붉고 용모가 아름다움이라  

17:43 블레셋 사람이 다윗에게 이르되 네가 나를 개로 여기고 막대기를 가지고 내게 나아왔느냐 하고 그의 신들의 이름으로 다윗을 저주하고  

17:44 그 블레셋 사람이 또 다윗에게 이르되 내게로 오라 내가 네 살을 공중의 새들과 들짐승들에게 주리라 하는지라  

17:45 다윗이 블레셋 사람에게 이르되 너는 칼과 창과 단창으로 내게 나아 오거니와 나는 만군의 여호와의 이름 곧 네가 모욕하는 이스라엘 군대의 하나님의 이름으로 네게 나아가노라  

17:46 오늘 여호와께서 너를 내 손에 넘기시리니 내가 너를 쳐서 네 목을 베고 블레셋 군대의 시체를 오늘 공중의 새와 땅의 들짐승에게 주어 온 땅으로 이스라엘에 하나님이 계신 줄 알게 하겠고  

17:47 또 여호와의 구원하심이 칼과 창에 있지 아니함을 이 무리에게 알게 하리라 전쟁은 여호와께 속한 것인즉 그가 너희를 우리 손에 넘기시리라  

17:48 블레셋 사람이 일어나 다윗에게로 마주 가까이 올 때에 다윗이 블레셋 사람을 향하여 빨리 달리며  

17:49 손을 주머니에 넣어 돌을 가지고 물매로 던져 블레셋 사람의 이마를 치매 돌이 그의 이마에 박히니 땅에 엎드러지니라  

17:50 다윗이 이같이 물매와 돌로 블레셋 사람을 이기고 그를 쳐죽였으나 자기 손에는 칼이 없었더라  

17:51 다윗이 달려가서 블레셋 사람을 밟고 그의 칼을 그 칼 집에서 빼내어 그 칼로 그를 죽이고 그의 머리를 베니 블레셋 사람들이 자기 용사의 죽음을 보고 도망하는지라  

17:52 이스라엘과 유다 사람들이 일어나서 소리 지르며 블레셋 사람들을 쫓아 가이와 에그론 성문까지 이르렀고 블레셋 사람들의 부상자들은 사아라임 가는 길에서부터 가드와 에그론까지 엎드러졌더라  

17:53 이스라엘 자손이 블레셋 사람들을 쫓다가 돌아와서 그들의 진영을 노략하였고  

17:54 다윗은 그 블레셋 사람의 머리를 예루살렘으로 가져가고 갑주는 자기 장막에 두니라  

17:36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine 

will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God.

17:37 The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear 

will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." Saul said to David, "

Go, and the LORD be with you."

17:38 Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and 

a bronze helmet on his head.

17:39 David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, 

because he was not used to them. "I cannot go in these," he said to Saul, 

"because I am not used to them." So he took them off.

17:40 Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, 

put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag and, with his sling in his hand, 

approached the Philistine.

17:41 Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, 

kept coming closer to David.

17:42 He looked David over and saw that he was only a boy, ruddy and handsome, 

and he despised him.

17:43 He said to David, "Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?" 

And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

17:44 "Come here," he said, "and I'll give your flesh to the birds of the air and 

the beasts of the field!"

17:45 David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, 

but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, 

whom you have defied.

17:46 This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and 

the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; 

for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give all of you into our hands."

17:48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward 

the battle line to meet him.

17:49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and 

struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and 

he fell facedown on the ground.

17:50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; 

without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.

17:51 David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine's sword and 

drew it from the scabbard. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword. 

When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.

17:52 Then the men of Israel and Judah surged forward with a shout and 

pursued the Philistines to the entrance of Gath and to the gates of Ekron. 

Their dead were strewn along the Shaaraim road to Gath and Ekron.

17:53 When the Israelites returned from chasing the Philistines, they plundered their camp.

17:54 David took the Philistine's head and brought it to Jerusalem, and 

he put the Philistine's weapons in his own tent.
