말씀선포 : 창세기 37장 4~11절

37:4 그의 형들이 아버지가 형들보다 그를 더 사랑함을 보고 그를 미워하여 그에게 편안하게 말할 수 없었더라 
When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.

37:5 요셉이 꿈을 꾸고 자기 형들에게 말하매 그들이 그를 더욱 미워하였더라 
Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more.

37:6 요셉이 그들에게 이르되 청하건대 내가 꾼 꿈을 들으시오 
He said to them, "Listen to this dream I had:

37:7 우리가 밭에서 곡식 단을 묶더니 내 단은 일어서고 당신들의 단은 내 단을 둘러서서 절하더이다 
We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it."

37:8 그의 형들이 그에게 이르되 네가 참으로 우리의 왕이 되겠느냐 참으로 우리를 다스리게 되겠느냐 하고 그의 꿈과 그의 말로 말미암아 그를 더욱 미워하더니 
His brothers said to him, "Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?" And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.

37:9 요셉이 다시 꿈을 꾸고 그의 형들에게 말하여 이르되 내가 또 꿈을 꾼즉 해와 달과 열한 별이 내게 절하더이다 하니라  
Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. "Listen," he said, "I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me."

37:10 그가 그의 꿈을 아버지와 형들에게 말하매 아버지가 그를 꾸짖고 그에게 이르되 네가 꾼 꿈이 무엇이냐 나와 네 어머니와 네 형들이 참으로 가서 땅에 엎드려 네게 절하겠느냐 
When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, "What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?"

37:11 그의 형들은 시기하되 그의 아버지는 그 말을 간직해 두었더라
His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

말씀선포 : 누가복음 2장 23~33절

2:23 이는 주의 율법에 쓴 바 첫 태에 처음 난 남자마다 주의 거룩한 자라 하리라 한 대로 아기를 주께 드리고 
(as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord"),

2:24 또 주의 율법에 말씀하신 대로 산비둘기 한 쌍이나 혹은 어린 집비둘기 둘로 제사하려 함이더라 
and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: "a pair of doves or two young pigeons."

2:25 예루살렘에 시므온이라 하는 사람이 있으니 이 사람은 의롭고 경건하여 이스라엘의 위로를 기다리는 자라 성령이 그 위에 계시더라 
Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

2:26 그가 주의 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽지 아니하리라 하는 성령의 지시를 받았더니 
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

2:27 성령의 감동으로 성전에 들어가매 마침 부모가 율법의 관례대로 행하고자 하여 그 아기 예수를 데리고 오는지라 
Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required,

2:28 시므온이 아기를 안고 하나님을 찬송하여 이르되 
Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

2:29 주재여 이제는 말씀하신 대로 종을 평안히 놓아 주시는도다
"Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. 

2:30 내 눈이 주의 구원을 보았사오니 
For my eyes have seen your salvation,

2:31 이는 만민 앞에 예비하신 것이요 
which you have prepared in the sight of all people,

2:32 이방을 비추는 빛이요 주의 백성 이스라엘의 영광이니이다 하니 
a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."

2:33 그의 부모가 그에 대한 말들을 놀랍게 여기더라 
The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him.

말씀선포 : 잠언 23:1~17절

23:1 네가 관원과 함께 앉아 음식을 먹게 되거든 삼가 네 앞에 있는 자가 누구인지를 생각하며 
When you sit to dine with a ruler, note well what is before you,

23:2 네가 만일 음식을 탐하는 자이거든 네 목에 칼을 둘 것이니라 
and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.

23:3 그의 맛있는 음식을 탐하지 말라 그것은 속이는 음식이니라 
Do not crave his delicacies, for that food is deceptive.

23:4 부자 되기에 애쓰지 말고 네 사사로운 지혜를 버릴지어다 
Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint.

23:5 네가 어찌 허무한 것에 주목하겠느냐 정녕히 재물은 스스로 날개를 내어 하늘을 나는 독수리처럼 날아가리라 
Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

23:6 악한 눈이 있는 자의 음식을 먹지 말며 그의 맛있는 음식을 탐하지 말지어다 
Do not eat the food of a stingy man, do not crave his delicacies;

23:7 대저 그 마음의 생각이 어떠하면 그 위인도 그러한즉 그가 네게 먹고 마시라 할지라도 그의 마음은 너와 함께 하지 아니함이라 
for he is the kind of man who is always thinking about the cost. "Eat and drink," he says to you, but his heart is not with you.

23:8 네가 조금 먹은 것도 토하겠고 네 아름다운 말도 헛된 데로 돌아가리라  
You will vomit up the little you have eaten and will have wasted your compliments.

23:9 미련한 자의 귀에 말하지 말지니 이는 그가 네 지혜로운 말을 업신여길 것임이니라 
Do not speak to a fool, for he will scorn the wisdom of your words.

23:10 옛 지계석을 옮기지 말며 고아들의 밭을 침범하지 말지어다 
Do not move an ancient boundary stone or encroach on the fields of the fatherless,

23:11 대저 그들의 구속자는 강하시니 그가 너를 대적하여 그들의 원한을 풀어 주시리라 
for their Defender is strong; he will take up their case against you.

23:12 훈계에 착심하며 지식의 말씀에 귀를 기울이라 
Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.

23:13 아이를 훈계하지 아니하려고 하지 말라 채찍으로 그를 때릴지라도 그가 죽지 아니하리라 
Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die.

23:14 네가 그를 채찍으로 때리면 그의 영혼을 스올에서 구원하리라 
Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death.

23:15 내 아들아 만일 네 마음이 지혜로우면 나 곧 내 마음이 즐겁겠고 
My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad;

23:16 만일 네 입술이 정직을 말하면 내 속이 유쾌하리라 
my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right.

23:17 네 마음으로 죄인의 형통을 부러워하지 말고 항상 여호와를 경외하라
Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the LORD.

말씀선포 :에베소서 1:1~7절

1:1 하나님의 뜻으로 말미암아 그리스도 예수의 사도 된 바울은 에베소에 있는 성도들과 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 신실한 자들에게 편지하노니 
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:

1:2 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다 
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:3 찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되 
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

1:4 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

1:5 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 
he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--

1:6 이는 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬송하게 하려는 것이라 
to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

1:7 우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 속량 곧 죄 사함을 받았느니라
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

말씀선포 : 사도행전 2장 1~4절

2:1 오순절 날이 이미 이르매 그들이 다같이 한 곳에 모였더니 
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

2:2 홀연히 하늘로부터 급하고 강한 바람 같은 소리가 있어 그들이 앉은 온 집에 가득하며 
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

2:3 마치 불의 혀처럼 갈라지는 것들이 그들에게 보여 각 사람 위에 하나씩 임하여 있더니 
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

2:4 그들이 다 성령의 충만함을 받고 성령이 말하게 하심을 따라 다른 언어들로 말하기를 시작하니라
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
