말씀선포 : 디모데후서 3장 1~17절

3:1 너는 이것을 알라 말세에 고통하는 때가 이르러 
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

3:2 사람들이 자기를 사랑하며 돈을 사랑하며 자랑하며 교만하며 비방하며 부모를 거역하며 감사하지 아니하며 거룩하지 아니하며  
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

3:3 무정하며 원통함을 풀지 아니하며 모함하며 절제하지 못하며 사나우며 선한 것을 좋아하지 아니하며 
without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,

3:4 배신하며 조급하며 자만하며 쾌락을 사랑하기를 하나님 사랑하는 것보다 더하며 
treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--

3:5 경건의 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부인하니 이같은 자들에게서 네가 돌아서라 
having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

3:6 그들 중에 남의 집에 가만히 들어가 어리석은 여자를 유인하는 자들이 있으니 그 여자는 죄를 중히 지고 여러 가지 욕심에 끌린 바 되어  
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,

3:7 항상 배우나 끝내 진리의 지식에 이를 수 없느니라 
always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

3:8 얀네와 얌브레가 모세를 대적한 것 같이 그들도 진리를 대적하니 이 사람들은 그 마음이 부패한 자요 믿음에 관하여는 버림 받은 자들이라 
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth--men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

3:9 그러나 그들이 더 나아가지 못할 것은 저 두 사람이 된 것과 같이 그들의 어리석음이 드러날 것임이라 
But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

3:10 나의 교훈과 행실과 의향과 믿음과 오래 참음과 사랑과 인내와 
You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,

3:11 박해를 받음과 고난과 또한 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 당한 일과 어떠한 박해를 받은 것을 네가 과연 보고 알았거니와 주께서 이 모든 것 가운데서 나를 건지셨느니라  
persecutions, sufferings--what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.

3:12 무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살고자 하는 자는 박해를 받으리라 
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

3:13 악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니 
while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

3:14 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 너는 네가 누구에게서 배운 것을 알며 
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,

3:15 또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라
 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 

3:16 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

3:17 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라
so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

말씀선포 : 열왕기하 10장 15~31절

15 예후가 거기에서 떠나가다가 자기를 맞이하러 오는 레갑의 아들 여호나답을 만난지라 그의 안부를 묻고 그에게 이르되 내 마음이 네 마음을 향하여 진실함과 같이 네 마음도 진실하냐 하니 여호나답이 대답하되 그러하니이다 이르되 그러면 나와 손을 잡자 손을 잡으니 예후가 끌어 병거에 올리며  
After he left there, he came upon Jehonadab son of Recab, who was on his way to meet him. Jehu greeted him and said, "Are you in accord with me, as I am with you?" "I am," Jehonadab answered. "If so," said Jehu, "give me your hand." So he did, and Jehu helped him up into the chariot.

16 이르되 나와 함께 가서 여호와를 위한 나의 열심을 보라 하고 이에 자기 병거에 태우고 
Jehu said, "Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD." Then he had him ride along in his chariot.

17 사마리아에 이르러 거기에 남아 있는 바 아합에게 속한 자들을 죽여 진멸하였으니 여호와께서 엘리야에게 이르신 말씀과 같이 되었더라 
When Jehu came to Samaria, he killed all who were left there of Ahab's family; he destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD spoken to Elijah.

18 예후가 뭇 백성을 모으고 그들에게 이르되 아합은 바알을 조금 섬겼으나 예후는 많이 섬기리라 
Then Jehu brought all the people together and said to them, "Ahab served Baal a little; Jehu will serve him much.

19 그러므로 내가 이제 큰 제사를 바알에게 드리고자 하노니 바알의 모든 선지자와 모든 섬기는 자와 모든 제사장들을 한 사람도 빠뜨리지 말고 불러 내게로 나아오게 하라 모든 오지 아니하는 자는 살려 두지 아니하리라 하니 이는 예후가 바알 섬기는 자를 멸하려 하여 계책을 씀이라 
Now summon all the prophets of Baal, all his ministers and all his priests. See that no one is missing, because I am going to hold a great sacrifice for Baal. Anyone who fails to come will no longer live." But Jehu was acting deceptively in order to destroy the ministers of Baal.

20 예후가 바알을 위하는 대회를 거룩히 열라 하매 드디어 공포되었더라 
Jehu said, "Call an assembly in honor of Baal." So they proclaimed it.

21 예후가 온 이스라엘에 사람을 두루 보냈더니 바알을 섬기는 모든 사람이 하나도 빠진 자가 없이 다 이르렀고 무리가 바알의 신당에 들어가매 바알의 신당 이쪽부터 저쪽까지 가득하였더라 
Then he sent word throughout Israel, and all the ministers of Baal came; not one stayed away. They crowded into the temple of Baal until it was full from one end to the other.

22 예후가 예복 맡은 자에게 이르되 예복을 내다가 바알을 섬기는 모든 자에게 주라 하매 그들에게로 예복을 가져온지라 
And Jehu said to the keeper of the wardrobe, "Bring robes for all the ministers of Baal." So he brought out robes for them.

23 예후가 레갑의 아들 여호나답과 더불어 바알의 신당에 들어가서 바알을 섬기는 자들에게 이르되 너희는 살펴보아 바알을 섬기는 자들만 여기 있게 하고 여호와의 종은 하나도 여기 너희 중에 있지 못하게 하라 하고 
Then Jehu and Jehonadab son of Recab went into the temple of Baal. Jehu said to the ministers of Baal, "Look around and see that no servants of the LORD are here with you--only ministers of Baal."

24 무리가 번제와 다른 제사를 드리려고 들어간 때에 예후가 팔십 명을 밖에 두며 이르되 내가 너희 손에 넘겨 주는 사람을 한 사람이라도 도망하게 하는 자는 자기의 생명으로 그 사람의 생명을 대신하리라 하니라 
So they went in to make sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had posted eighty men outside with this warning: "If one of you lets any of the men I am placing in your hands escape, it will be your life for his life."

25 번제 드리기를 다하매 예후가 호위병과 지휘관들에게 이르되 들어가서 한 사람도 나가지 못하게 하고 죽이라 하매 호위병과 지휘관들이 칼로 그들을 죽여 밖에 던지고 
As soon as Jehu had finished making the burnt offering, he ordered the guards and officers: "Go in and kill them; let no one escape." So they cut them down with the sword. The guards and officers threw the bodies out and then entered the inner shrine of the temple of Baal.

26 바알의 신당 있는 성으로 가서 바알의 신당에서 목상들을 가져다가 불사르고 
They brought the sacred stone out of the temple of Baal and burned it.

27 바알의 목상을 헐며 바알의 신당을 헐어서 변소를 만들었더니 오늘까지 이르니라 
They demolished the sacred stone of Baal and tore down the temple of Baal, and people have used it for a latrine to this day.

28 예후가 이와 같이 이스라엘 중에서 바알을 멸하였으나  
So Jehu destroyed Baal worship in Israel.

29 이스라엘에게 범죄하게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄 곧 벧엘과 단에 있는 금송아지를 섬기는 죄에서는 떠나지 아니하였더라
However, he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit--the worship of the golden calves at Bethel and Dan. 

30 여호와께서 예후에게 이르시되 네가 나보기에 정직한 일을 행하되 잘 행하여 내 마음에 있는 대로 아합 집에 다 행하였은즉 네 자손이 이스라엘 왕위를 이어 사대를 지내리라 하시니라 
The LORD said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation."

31 그러나 예후가 전심으로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 율법을 지켜 행하지 아니하며 여로보암이 이스라엘에게 범하게 한 그 죄에서 떠나지 아니하였더라 
The LORD said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation."

말씀선포 : 잠언 8장 32~36절

32 아들들아 이제 내게 들으라 내 도를 지키는 자가 복이 있느니라 
"Now then, my sons, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.

33 훈계를 들어서 지혜를 얻으라 그것을 버리지 말라 
Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.

34 누구든지 내게 들으며 날마다 내 문 곁에서 기다리며 문설주 옆에서 기다리는 자는 복이 있나니  
Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

35 대저 나를 얻는 자는 생명을 얻고 여호와께 은총을 얻을 것임이니라 
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.

36 그러나 나를 잃는 자는 자기의 영혼을 해하는 자라 나를 미워하는 자는 사망을 사랑하느니라
But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death."

말씀선포 : 요한복음 12장 33~36절

33 이렇게 말씀하심은 자기가 어떠한 죽음으로 죽을 것을 보이심이러라 
He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.

34 이에 무리가 대답하되 우리는 율법에서 그리스도가 영원히 계신다 함을 들었거늘 너는 어찌하여 인자가 들려야 하리라 하느냐 이 인자는 누구냐 
The crowd spoke up, "We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever, so how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this 'Son of Man'?"

35 예수께서 이르시되 아직 잠시 동안 빛이 너희 중에 있으니 빛이 있을 동안에 다녀 어둠에 붙잡히지 않게 하라 어둠에 다니는 자는 그 가는 곳을 알지 못하느니라
Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going.

36 너희에게 아직 빛이 있을 동안에 빛을 믿으라 그리하면 빛의 아들이 되리라 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 그들을 떠나가서 숨으시니라
 Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself from them.
