말씀선포 : 고린도전서 1장 18~25절

1:18 십자가의 도가 멸망하는 자들에게는 미련한 것이요 구원을 받는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이라 
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1:19 기록된 바 내가 지혜 있는 자들의 지혜를 멸하고 총명한 자들의 총명을 폐하리라 하였으니  
For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

1:20 지혜 있는 자가 어디 있느냐 선비가 어디 있느냐 이 세대에 변론가가 어디 있느냐 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 미련하게 하신 것이 아니냐 
Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

1:21 하나님의 지혜에 있어서는 이 세상이 자기 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못하므로 하나님께서 전도의 미련한 것으로 믿는 자들을 구원하시기를 기뻐하셨도다 
For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

1:22 유대인은 표적을 구하고 헬라인은 지혜를 찾으나 
Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,

1:23 우리는 십자가에 못 박힌 그리스도를 전하니 유대인에게는 거리끼는 것이요 이방인에게는 미련한 것이로되 
but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,

1:24 오직 부르심을 받은 자들에게는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 그리스도는 하나님의 능력이요 하나님의 지혜니라 
but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

1:25 하나님의 어리석음이 사람보다 지혜롭고 하나님의 약하심이 사람보다 강하니라
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

말씀선포 : 사도행전 12:1~17절

12:1 그 때에 헤롯 왕이 손을 들어 교회 중에서 몇 사람을 해하려 하여 
It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.

12:2 요한의 형제 야고보를 칼로 죽이니 
He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.

12:3 유대인들이 이 일을 기뻐하는 것을 보고 베드로도 잡으려 할새 때는 무교절 기간이라 
When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

12:4 잡으매 옥에 가두어 군인 넷씩인 네 패에게 맡겨 지키고 유월절 후에 백성 앞에 끌어 내고자 하더라 
After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.

12:5 이에 베드로는 옥에 갇혔고 교회는 그를 위하여 간절히 하나님께 기도하더라 
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

12:6 헤롯이 잡아 내려고 하는 그 전날 밤에 베드로가 두 군인 틈에서 두 쇠사슬에 매여 누워 자는데 파수꾼들이 문 밖에서 옥을 지키더니 
The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance.

12:7 홀연히 주의 사자가 나타나매 옥중에 광채가 빛나며 또 베드로의 옆구리를 쳐 깨워 이르되 급히 일어나라 하니 쇠사슬이 그 손에서 벗어지더라 
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists.

12:8 천사가 이르되 띠를 띠고 신을 신으라 하거늘 베드로가 그대로 하니 천사가 또 이르되 겉옷을 입고 따라오라 한대 
Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him.

12:9 베드로가 나와서 따라갈새 천사가 하는 것이 생시인 줄 알지 못하고 환상을 보는가 하니라 
Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.

12:10 이에 첫째와 둘째 파수를 지나 시내로 통한 쇠문에 이르니 문이 저절로 열리는지라 나와서 한 거리를 지나매 천사가 곧 떠나더라 
They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

12:11 이에 베드로가 정신이 들어 이르되 내가 이제야 참으로 주께서 그의 천사를 보내어 나를 헤롯의 손과 유대 백성의 모든 기대에서 벗어나게 하신 줄 알겠노라 하여 
Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating."

12:12 깨닫고 마가라 하는 요한의 어머니 마리아의 집에 가니 여러 사람이 거기에 모여 기도하고 있더라 
When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.

12:13 베드로가 대문을 두드린대 로데라 하는 여자 아이가 영접하러 나왔다가
Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door. 

12:14 베드로의 음성인 줄 알고 기뻐하여 문을 미처 열지 못하고 달려 들어가 말하되 베드로가 대문 밖에 섰더라 하니 
When she recognized Peter's voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, "Peter is at the door!"

12:15 그들이 말하되 네가 미쳤다 하나 여자 아이는 힘써 말하되 참말이라 하니 그들이 말하되 그러면 그의 천사라 하더라 
"You're out of your mind," they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, "It must be his angel."

12:16 베드로가 문 두드리기를 그치지 아니하니 그들이 문을 열어 베드로를 보고 놀라는지라 
But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.

12:17 베드로가 그들에게 손짓하여 조용하게 하고 주께서 자기를 이끌어 옥에서 나오게 하던 일을 말하고 또 야고보와 형제들에게 이 말을 전하라 하고 떠나 다른 곳으로 가니라 
Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. "Tell James and the brothers about this," he said, and then he left for another place.

말씀선포 : 열왕기상 3장 3~9절

3:3 솔로몬이 여호와를 사랑하고 그의 아버지 다윗의 법도를 행하였으나 산당에서 제사하며 분향하더라  
Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

3:4 이에 왕이 제사하러 기브온으로 가니 거기는 산당이 큼이라 솔로몬이 그 제단에 일천 번제를 드렸더니 
The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

3:5 기브온에서 밤에 여호와께서 솔로몬의 꿈에 나타나시니라 하나님이 이르시되 내가 네게 무엇을 줄꼬 너는 구하라 
At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you."

3:6 솔로몬이 이르되 주의 종 내 아버지 다윗이 성실과 공의와 정직한 마음으로 주와 함께 주 앞에서 행하므로 주께서 그에게 큰 은혜를 베푸셨고 주께서 또 그를 위하여 이 큰 은혜를 항상 주사 오늘과 같이 그의 자리에 앉을 아들을 그에게 주셨나이다 
Solomon answered, "You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this veryday.

3:7 나의 하나님 여호와여 주께서 종으로 종의 아버지 다윗을 대신하여 왕이 되게 하셨사오나 종은 작은 아이라 출입할 줄을 알지 못하고  
"Now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties.

3:8 주께서 택하신 백성 가운데 있나이다 그들은 큰 백성이라 수효가 많아서 셀 수도 없고 기록할 수도 없사오니
Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.

3:9 누가 주의 이 많은 백성을 재판할 수 있사오리이까 듣는 마음을 종에게 주사 주의 백성을 재판하여 선악을 분별하게 하옵소서
So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"

말씀선포 : 요한복음 16장 1~11절

16:1 내가 이것을 너희에게 이름은 너희로 실족하지 않게 하려 함이니 
"All this I have told you so that you will not go astray.

16:2 사람들이 너희를 출교할 뿐 아니라 때가 이르면 무릇 너희를 죽이는 자가 생각하기를 이것이 하나님을 섬기는 일이라 하리라 
They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.

16:3 그들이 이런 일을 할 것은 아버지와 나를 알지 못함이라 
They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.

16:4 오직 너희에게 이 말을 한 것은 너희로 그 때를 당하면 내가 너희에게 말한 이것을 기억나게 하려 함이요 처음부터 이 말을 하지 아니한 것은 내가 너희와 함께 있었음이라
I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you. 

16:5 지금 내가 나를 보내신 이에게로 가는데 너희 중에서 나더러 어디로 가는지 묻는 자가 없고 
"Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?'

16:6 도리어 내가 이 말을 하므로 너희 마음에 근심이 가득하였도다  
Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief.

16:7 그러나 내가 너희에게 실상을 말하노니 내가 떠나가는 것이 너희에게 유익이라 내가 떠나가지 아니하면 보혜사가 너희에게로 오시지 아니할 것이요 가면 내가 그를 너희에게로 보내리니 
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

16:8 그가 와서 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 책망하시리라 
When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

16:9 죄에 대하여라 함은 그들이 나를 믿지 아니함이요 
in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me;

16:10 의에 대하여라 함은 내가 아버지께로 가니 너희가 다시 나를 보지 못함이요 
in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;

16:11 심판에 대하여라 함은 이 세상 임금이 심판을 받았음이라
and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

말씀선포 : 사도행전 2장 42~47절

2:42 그들이 사도의 가르침을 받아 서로 교제하고 떡을 떼며 오로지 기도하기를 힘쓰니라 
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

2:43 사람마다 두려워하는데 사도들로 말미암아 기사와 표적이 많이 나타나니
Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.  

2:44 믿는 사람이 다 함께 있어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고  
All the believers were together and had everything in common.

2:45 또 재산과 소유를 팔아 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠 주며  
Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

2:46 날마다 마음을 같이하여 성전에 모이기를 힘쓰고 집에서 떡을 떼며 기쁨과 순전한 마음으로 음식을 먹고  
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

2:47 하나님을 찬미하며 또 온 백성에게 칭송을 받으니 주께서 구원 받는 사람을 날마다 더하게 하시니라 
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. 

말씀선포 : 사도행전 4장 32절

4:32 믿는 무리가 한마음과 한 뜻이 되어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고 자기 재물을 조금이라도 자기 것이라 하는 이가 하나도 없더라

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.

말씀선포 : 에베소서 6장 1~4절

6:1 자녀들아 주 안에서 너희 부모에게 순종하라 이것이 옳으니라 
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

6:2 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라 이것은 약속이 있는 첫 계명이니  
"Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise--

6:3 이로써 네가 잘되고 땅에서 장수하리라  
"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

6:4 또 아비들아 너희 자녀를 노엽게 하지 말고 오직 주의 교훈과 훈계로 양육하라
 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

말씀선포 : 시편 78편 1~8절

78:1 내 백성이여, 내 율법을 들으며 내 입의 말에 귀를 기울일지어다 
O my people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth.

78:2 내가 입을 열어 비유로 말하며 예로부터 감추어졌던 것을 드러내려 하니 
I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old

78:3 이는 우리가 들어서 아는 바요 우리의 조상들이 우리에게 전한 바라 
what we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us.

78:4 우리가 이를 그들의 자손에게 숨기지 아니하고 여호와의 영예와 그의 능력과 그가 행하신 기이한 사적을 후대에 전하리로다 
We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

78:5 여호와께서 증거를 야곱에게 세우시며 법도를 이스라엘에게 정하시고 우리 조상들에게 명령하사 그들의 자손에게 알리라 하셨으니 
He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children,

78:6 이는 그들로 후대 곧 태어날 자손에게 이를 알게 하고 그들은 일어나 그들의 자손에게 일러서 
so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.

78:7 그들로 그들의 소망을 하나님께 두며 하나님께서 행하신 일을 잊지 아니하고 오직 그의 계명을 지켜서 
Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

78:8 그들의 조상들 곧 완고하고 패역하여 그들의 마음이 정직하지 못하며 그 심령이 하나님께 충성하지 아니하는 세대와 같이 되지 아니하게 하려 하심이로다 
They would not be like their forefathers--a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him.

말씀선포 : 마태복음 18장 22~35절

18:22 예수께서 가라사대 네게 이르노니 일곱 번 뿐 아니라 일흔 번씩 일곱 번이라도 할지니라
Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

18:23 이러므로 천국은 그 종들과 회계하려 하던 어떤 임금과 같으니
"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

18:24 회계할 때에 일만 달란트 빚진 자 하나를 데려오매
As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him.

18:25 갚을 것이 없는지라 주인이 명하여 그 몸과 처와 자식들과 모든 소유를 다 팔아 갚게 하라 한대
Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

18:26 그 종이 엎드리어 절하며 가로되 내게 참으소서 다 갚으리이다 하거늘
"The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.'

18:27 그 종의 주인이 불쌍히 여겨 놓아 보내며 그 빚을 탕감하여 주었더니
The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

18:28 그 종이 나가서 제게 백 데나리온 빚진 동관 하나를 만나 붙들어 목을 잡고 가로되 빚을 갚으라 하매
"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.

18:29 그 동관(同官)이 엎드리어 간구하여 가로되 나를 참아 주소서 갚으리이다 하되
"His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.'

18:30 허락하지 아니하고 이에 가서 저가 빚을 갚도록 옥에 가두거늘
"But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.

18:31 그 동관들이 그것을 보고 심히 민망하여 주인에게 가서 그 일을 다 고하니
When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.

18:32 이에 주인이 저를 불러다가 말하되 악한 종아 네가 빌기에 내가 네 빚을 전부 탕감하여 주었거늘
"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.

18:33 내가 너를 불쌍히 여김과 같이 너도 네 동관을 불쌍히 여김이 마땅치 아니하냐 하고
Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?'

18:34 주인이 노하여 그 빚을 다 갚도록 저를 옥졸들에게 붙이니라
In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

18:35 너희가 각각 중심으로 형제를 용서하지 아니하면 내 천부께서도 너희에게 이와 같이 하시리라
"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
